Nicola Tunnah

I’ve made jewellery for many years but have often been frustrated when I could not find the right shape, colour or size of bead to finish a project. In 2008 I discovered lampworking, a process of melting glass rods and forming them into beads. I’m now totally hooked. I love being able to create jewellery that this totally unique and having the freedom to created the beads I want.

My beads are all made in my home studio and are kiln annealed for extra strength. The beads are all cleaned and inspected before being used in my jewellery. I use Thai silver as I find the designs are just right for my jewellery and I love Greek silver plated ceramic beads and spacers and fresh water pearls.
