Franz Grimley

Bringing up a family did not allow much time for esoteric. I came to painting late in life but with determination to put on canvas what I could see and feel. Gaining a B.A. in Site Specific Design gave me the confidence to work in oils, having previously only worked in pen and watercolours. Oil paint is a magnificent medium to express movement and colour, so necessary in seascapes.
