Red Fred

Red Fred is a Somerset born artist and designer who now lives and works from her home in St Andrews. After studying art and design at Elmwood College in Fife she set up her own studio overlooking the sea and takes her inspiration from the beautiful East Neuk coatline. All of her jewellery is made by hand, using semi precious stones and sterling silver.

“A couple of years ago, I spent some time travelling through India and I was appalled to discover how many of our high street labels are still using cheap child labour abroad. I then decided to start making my own jewellery instead of buying mass produced and this inspired my collection. I have called it Red Fred after an old childhood friend.” – Keely West
