Jill Ford

British artist Jill has been exhibiting her works across the UK and is gaining a reputation for her contemporary porcelain.

Her candlesticks have an emphasis on texture and contrast. She use black slip and cooper oxide to contrast with the cream matt glaze, and then carves details into the surface. The candlesticks make a dramatic statement placed in a line holding either candles or a single bloom, or simply in groupings of different sizes and finishes.
