Laura Clark

Laura is a glass artist who lives in Irvine, Ayrshire; she graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2001 with an Honours Degree in Visual Communication. She moved onto working with glass as a medium using art glass, metals and powders to create her own unique kiln-formed fused glassware.
Laura’s designs are striking contemporary combining the use of soft and sympathetic tonal colour ranges with flowing shapes and patterns to create wonderful pieces of art.
She finds the expressive inspiration for each piece naturally suggests itself based upon either the choice of materials, or design themes, moods and ambiances requested by clients.
