Ian Cameron

Ian Cameron has been taking pictures for over twenty years and quickly specialised in both landscape and travel photography. After travelling extensively and building a substantial portfolio of marketable images, he moved to Moray, so that he could be closer to the landscapes of Scotland that so inspires him.

Nowadays Ian concentrates his attentions on Landscape Photography. He moved to a larger format of camera to maximise image quality.

“The essence of good landscape photography seems to boil down to three things, composition, timing and light. It is my belief that this final ingredient, light, its colour, quality and strength is the biggest single influence on the success of the final image. Transient light perfectly describes that moment. I constantly seek out both the wide and intimate landscape for those magical seconds when all the elements align. These extraordinary moments pass all too rapidly and subside back to the mundane”.
