Allan learned the art of sculpting pewter and copper at Second City Studios in Glasgow in the late 80's. For the first few years he produced pieces which were a fusion of Celtic and Arts and Crafts styles. Then, for a period of ten years designing and producing for Liberty's in London, a re-interpretation of the traditional Arts and Crafts (Knox) style of a range of mantle clocks, mirrors and lamp bases.

From this, a new style evolved which is more abstract and contemporary with an organic feel to it. A beautiful, unique handmade clock.

Mantle clock handcrafted in pewter and copper, timber, glass, often with agates and gemstones, all of Allan's work is of original design.
