"This series of four collages was inspired by the colours and geology of the marble found on the Isle of Skye. Each piece reflects the process of the formation of the rock, a metamorphosis that took place over aeon's of time. The collages are worked in layers with all materials hand made and manipulated, representing a microcosm of the massive upheaval of the earth that produced this exquisite rock formation."

Jacki is a versatile multi-media artist specialising in textile abstracts and both traditional and abstract paintings in oils and acrylics. She trained at Cornwall College and Somerset College of Art and Design and has been developing her own unique approach to various artistic disciplines over many years. Her work has been exhibited in various West Country locations and examples of her commissions can be found in France and Switzerland.
She has travelled widely and her appreciation of a diversity of cultures is reflected in her creativity. Jacki is as multi-faceted as her work and is therefore always seeking new artistic challenges and directions. She now lives on the West Coast of Scotland where the dramatic and beautiful scenery and ever changing light informs and inspires her work.
