"My paintings reflect my interest in the natural and built environment. I am interested in the effects of light and the change of seasons, for this reason I prefer to paint landscapes in the autumn and winter when the colours of the countryside are richly subtle and the shapes starkly delineated. I work in the mediums of oil, watercolour and gouache".
The paintings exhibited here are gouaches inspired by specific landscapes in Perthshire seen on brilliant winter days.
