About the artist:
I graduated with a BA(Hons) degree from Edinburgh College of Art in 2000.
After graduating I set up a studio in Hamilton.
My work is mainly figurative and always female. The marks and patterns I use are not only decorative but are used to show the journeys we all take. I see the marks as metaphorical fingerprints of people who have touched us in some way(often unknowingly) The work is high fired earthenware (1180) then glazed using a mixture of underglazes and earthenware glazes (1040). This method ensures that the figures are strong as well as allowing me to control the glaze finish.

Due to it's delicate nature, this item is available for collection only and cannot be delivery by post.
