Chris began a series of apprenticeships with glassmakers in London after travelling from his home in Sydney, Australia. Although he now lives in the Wye Valley in Gloucestershire Chris has said
"I have not lost my Australian roots. My colour palette is more vibrant and strong, memories of large, bright Oz skies rather than a reflection of England’s muted colours…I have worked with glass for a long period. It is a dynamic and exciting material that still motivates me today."
